Clinic Presenter Steve Crise

Steve Crise is a commercial photographer originally from Los Angeles, California. He and his wife moved to the Dallas / Ft Worth area of Texas in 2021.

Steve began his photography carrier as a production assistant in Hollywood in 1979. As a studio manager for much of the 1980's, Steve had the opportunity to work with many motion picture, TV and music industry notables.

In 1987 Steve started his own photography business in Los Angeles. His services included lighting, set construction, prop procurement and set dressing for still and video productions. Steve opened his own commercial photography studio in Culver City, California in 1991.

A short list of his clients included Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Sony Studios, Jim Henson Productions, BNSF Railway, Nevada Northern Railway and Union Pacific Railroad.

After closing his studio in 2005, Steve concentrated on location assignments that provided him with extensive travel and production experience throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Today Steve concentrates his effort as archivists for Golden West Books and curator for the Pacific Electric Railway Historical Society, PERyhs.org, an on-line image collection of electric railway images of Southern California. Together with co-author Michael Patris, they have written three books for Arcadia Publishing for their Then & Now and Past & Present history series.
