Jessica Devorsky is the Executive Director of Texas Operation Lifesaver. Texas Operation Lifesaver is a nonprofit public safety organization committed to reducing the number of tragic incidents at highway-rail grade crossing intersections and trespassing on railroad rights of way. Jessica was elected as the State Coordinator Regional Representative for Federal Railroad Administration Region 5. Jessica has a degree in Social Work from Tarleton State University and has twelve years of nonprofit management experience.
CLINIC - Operation Lifesaver – The Inside Track
Texas Operation Lifesaver is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public safety organization committed to reducing the number of tragic incidents at highway-rail grade crossing intersections and trespassing on railroad rights-of-way.
The Operation Lifesaver presentation to 2023 Texas Express attendees will educate on how to make good decisions around railways in order to stay safe and alive. It then becomes the challenge on how the hobbyist in model railroading can educate themselves and others in these stay safe and alive decisions.
The presentation will be supported by group-appropriate visual materials, videos, and brochures. These presentations are to encourage the convention attendees to become actively involved in enhancing rail safety in their communities.
